An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday, repeating until February 23, 2016
We are offering Washington Wine Academy’s most popular certification class, the WSET Intermediate class and addresses basic viticulture, wine-making, and the regions of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America, South Africa, and North America.
Please note: There is NO pre-requisite for this class and this is the starting point for our wine certification courses.
In addition, you will be taught the WSET systematic approach to tasting wines. There is a power point presentation for each class, and students taste about 8 to 10 wines exemplifying the region or topics discussed. The class culminates an exam which consists of 50 multiple choice questions, successful completion of which entitles the student to use the WSET Level 2 Certificate on his or her resume.
